i think my favorite thing about the depths it's how the devs literally took the hyrule map, turned it inside out, and made that the depths map. absolutely genius time save

there is something so poignant and devastating about the fact that dorian and orym stand on the same side of wanting this conflict to end but dorian could potentially be swayed to ludinus' side ONLY NOW because he watched his brother fall at the hands of a god where previously he was neutral about the gods but stood solidly on orym's side of things because he knew orym had lost so much to ludinus' hand

such a simple, singular death drives such a wedge between these two and their ideals because where previously dorian didn't have much of a stance he now has to decide if vengeance for his brother matters more to him than orym's approval and orym's vengeance because it will be drastically unlikely that they can have both without completely uprooting the foundation of exandria

The raised floor emphasizes the already low ceilings. A wolfskin spread seems appropriate in the cavern-like space. Yet the open shelves and the flexibility of the sliding shojis keep any sense of confinement at bay.
